Advanced methods for diagnosing a multiphase induction generator for power generation

In this project, the aim is to early detect electrical faults in wind energy systems equipped with asynchronous generators. Faults such as short circuits in the stator windings can compromise the reliability of wind power generation. To achieve this, measurement signals such as stator currents and flux are collected and analyzed. A wind turbine emulator has been set up at the laboratory of innovative technology (LTI) of Amiens to simulate these faults and gather data under normal and faulty conditions. The ultimate goal is to develop a fault detection algorithm to ensure the continuity of wind energy production.
